Driver – Dump Truck
The DHM Dump Truck Driver safely operates a commercial Tri-Axle Dump Tuck equipped with a dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, topsoil, slate, blacktop, etc.
Duties Include:
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water and performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Must be safety minded and have a clean driving record.
- Must have a current/valid commercial driver’s license (Class A or B). Additional endorsements are a plus.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment and drug testing.
- Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement).
- Must have a current/valid Medical Examination Certificate.
- Must have at least 2 years of commercial dump truck driving experience.
- Must be able to write clearly and be able to read and interpret written and verbal instructions and/or information and carry out instructions provided either verbally or in writing by Dispatcher.
- This is considered a safety sensitive position.
- Some weekend work may be available per business need.
