Our history is
our Credibility
In 1968, David H. Martin Excavating started with one man, a dump truck, a backhoe—and a vision to bring excellence and integrity to the excavation industry. Over 55 years later, we are proud to be a third-generation, family-owned business with a growing team of over 200, a large fleet of dump trucks, and a vast assortment of excavation equipment.
Located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, our familiar brown and orange trucks have become a tri-state hallmark associated with providing superior excavation and utility services to private and public commercial, residential, and agricultural clients throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia.
David H. Martin has always aimed to stay at the forefront of technology and information. As the owner and president, I take it as my personal responsibility to remove as many obstacles as I can to allow our team to stay at the cutting edge.
Kirk Martin
